Firstly Sean, have you seen our "IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO POST ON THIS BOARD" thread on the top of the "Open Tak for Girls Discussion"?

Secondly, although I appreciate you wanting some traffic on your Board, I don't think "advertising" on another Board is the way to go.

Thirdly, I really think it's unfair to put in the rules that "The first photo that you enter though has to have you modeling at least one piece of House of Pain clothing as part of your outfit. It can be any garmet or hat that House of Pain carries in their catalog".  In order for someone to enter your contest, they first have to buy something from the catalog.  Even though I own several articles of HOP attire, I'm sure there are some that don't.  Plus your looking for people to enter 10 days out from the end of the contest (I'm talking about here, not on your site)...so if someone doesn't already have HOP attire they would have to have it shipped probably overnigh to ensure they get it in time, hope it fits properly, take the photos and get them back to you before the 4th of October.  Why not just have a Gym Girl Photo Contest and offer the winner some HOP clothing?

Politely brutal smackdown Laura

As we all can see just good marketing on their part really, for a whole whopping $300 they will probably sell more HOP clothing then that as there are so many wannabe models in this game. Really though, this prolly isn't the best board anyway no offence to him. Perhaps other boards would be more suitable.

I know Sean...I saw the contest on your forum.  I also saw the thread you posted here in the female bbing board back on July 4th.  I also noticed no one posted in that thread. 

I also know HOP avertises in many magazines and whatnot.  That's where I first heard of their products. 

I guess what I'm saying is pretty much what CQ said, this probably isn't the best board to advertise contests like this one.  The females that post here really don't participate in such contests.

No diss at all, but like Laura said the females here in this "harsh" getbig vibe tend not to be the wannabee model types who will rush out with the credit card and buy clothes to enter a model contest to possibly win like $200. Seriously, in all my time here I have never known a female reg here to do that.

Other boards would simply be more useful, seriously.
