It has EVERYTHING to do with what is being talked about...Rev. Wright's comments. Whether he was quoting the Iraqi Prime Minister or not (I personally never heard that he was), kcballer is saying the statement was/is correct.


No, it doesn't.  It's a tangent and completely off topic.

The point was whether Wright's comments were newsworthy or not.   Not their origin or meaning.

He gets out of the debate, where he'd look like a sick old man next to obama.
He looked like a leader in his press conference
He can now almost label this bailout "The Bush/Obama Bailout"

It's a bold move.

Its something...and it will show alot of things,

McCain can break with the president.........he does,more so then Obama and his party, but that gets very little play
It shows him taking action, even if its to make sure that the plan has safeguards
It makes Obama say stupid crap like he's on call
