I believe he's committed to this course of action.  I think there will have to be some kind of delay or compromise. Everybody is saying help need to happen fast, so McCain is headed to DC. I don't know what happens if they say the debate goes on and McCain is in DC. In any event it would appear that both sides are trying to get this done quickly.

i think his camp will do the best job to make him late...and while obama is boring people, mccain will swoop in about 30 minutes or so late then give us a big spiel on why he was late...JUST got off the flight from d.c. etc.

he'll do it and then when he get's his stomped he say that it was because he didn't have time to prepare becaue he was back in DC explaining to the rest of Congress why the fundamentals of our economy are so strong
