surprised dex got it over jay and here's why....

i'm a jay fan, i admit, but i still want whoever deserves it to win, and i guess dexter was the man on this night.

 however, just wondered a few things since the commentators all said that dex looked the best in pre-judging, ( was dex ahead in points then before the final?)  but jay looked the best in the finals, all things being equal, that usuallly would mean that the reigning MR.O would be given the nod,

 also add in the fact that jay had not been beaten anywhere since th 2005 MR.O and he has a big win/loss record head to head against dexter over the years.

add in the fact that for a decade now the biggest, most massive bber on stage has won and jay outweighs dex by what 30 pounds last night's results are even more astounding!

everyone has been saying like in boxing "you have to knock out the champ, because in bbing like in boxing if it's close or equal they always always give it to the reigning champion.

so just curious on everyone's thoughts on how dex winning over jay happened. not saying that it shouldn't have, just wondering what the judges had to say afterwards, scoring, what dex chosen due to his long career and he "deserved" at least one MR.O,  etcetera.

The storyline of MrO is no longer you need the best back to win...given Phil could never win the thing against Wolf, Vic or another monster showing up in the future. There is always a reason for something.  Phil looks nice but Flex had a better back spread.

Well, here are the reasons jay LOST instead:)

-his biceps look like a baseball vs a softball
-his left quad is 2x bigger than his right
-his waist is almost as wide as his lats
-his abdomen is horrid
-i cant even see detail in his lower/mid back due to the multiple layers of skin folds

Ronnie and Yates were more f###ed in the past and older.  There wasnt a Golden Boy, A+ image, Div 1 athlete in the wings in the past like today.  Phil's body didnt fit the mode of the past 4 champs.  The mind set of fans had to be changed last night.  Dex is in no way better than Shawn, Kev and Flex top end in this lifetime.  Yes...he deserved the win but the s##t at the end of the tunnel I dont trust.  I could be wrong and Vic ends up being a 3-4 time O but Phil would loose his glam.  They can write Wolf off as note being able to fill out his frame.  Happens all the time the taller guys. But if it is about shape...then his shape is better and condition is about equal on a good day with Phil.  We shall see
