First of all, I don't advocate Black woman being singled out because they are Black.  If you feel like someone is following you around the store I suggest you ask them if they have a problem and ask for the store manager and discuss your situation.  There may be other reasons for them following you, have you ever asked?

I also posted exactly how it is Black woman (to include minority woman) have more opportunities than anyone else, read above.

I own several homes today and feel like the people who didn't allow me to buy a home simply lost my money and I ended up better for it.  I didn't let those people stop me.

I suggest you do the same.

Actually, you did single out black women when you first posted on how many "MORE"  opportunities we have than anyone else.
I don't need to ask why I am being followed around.  I already know the answer.   I know it when I see it.

I have no idea where you think I have let anyone stand in the way of me becoming the woman I am today.

You misunderstand the spirit of the conversation at hand.

Let me try this way:

Being black in America is a fortune and with TV networks, magazines, scholarships, quota's, political pressure and much more, Black woman have more opportunity than anyone else in America.  In addition to the above examples Black woman AREN'T excluded from the more traditional avenues.

I am sick and tired of Blacks using their skin (I don't know you well enough to include you) as a reason for not getting what they want.

Lastly, perhaps you have a complex to believe you are being followed around.  This went away in the 80's and has been as "played out" as much as the stories about white woman clutching their purse's when a black man gets near.  Attorney's have done a good job letting business's know how much be the demise of their business.

People are going to stand in your way in life, no matter what your skin tone is.  It's how you deal with them that will determine your success.
