The only time candidates stare into the camera is at the very end when their entire closing speech is completely memorized... Palin did the ENTIRE TIME!!!! She wouldn't look Joe in the eye becasue she may forget what to say... Thats "Canned presentation sales 101"... always focus on something that wont break your concentration.... she would look at him for a second... then she would look right away... starting the camera keeps your mind focused on what you have memorized...
I watched the debate again, she did babble about things that made no sense, it wasnt as noticebale the first time...
