Should Artifical Testosterone be legal

I have to write a essay paper on weather or not Testosterone should be legal again. Although this is a steriod thread i believe i will get mixed feeling about it. Please give me your thoughts about the pro and cons. Keep in mind this is only about test, nothing else.

First off you need to get things straight with it being legal/illegal.  Testoterone is legal in the US.  Its a controlled drug, meaning its illegal to possess it WITHOUT a prescription.  If you have a prescription---which also dictates the volumes you can possess---then you have nothing to worry about.    For example:  I use androgel (Testosterone cream) every day, under my doctors guidance for treatment of adult hypogonadism.   I'm also drug tested on a regular basis where I work.  I have nothing to worry about with that controlled drug because I have a valid client patient relationship with my endocrinologist and I take the drug as prescribed.

I personally feel that if someone would like to take AAS they should be allowed to. My basic argument is the following: A women can go to a sergeon & pay $5000 & get new boobs but I can't go to a doctor & ask for 20 weeks of Test & Deca to build muscle. IMO - it doesn't make any sense. Simple as that. We can go under the knife & change almost any bodypart but we can't take a moderate doseage of AAS to change our body. Not exactly fair is it?

I agree, there should be age limitations as to whether or not someone should be able to use it.  It certainly would not be a good idea for an 18  year old to go and do a cycle of testosterone, it could end up causing problems with his endocrine system later down the road.  However, it's perfectly fine IMO to be used by healthy, adult males.

its already legal, were just living in a society which doesnt respect the fundamentals of the government in which it resides.

the only thing that the government can , in reality, tell us we CANNOT do are things which harm or interfer in others lifes (without their asking or their permission).

and i believe any good lawyer able to argue a point without disrespecting the judge will easily be able to get such a case pushed all the way t the supreme court..where, ideally, in a world where judges judge based on facts and not opinions, you would be freed from any 'crime' and all such legislation would be overturned.

What Rimbaud said is right, it doesn't make sense.

I've always likened it to this; women are allowed to take hormones that make keep them more feminine after menopause, men are not allowed to take hormones that actually aid in masculinity effects.

Further, anyone on earth is allowed to take hormones that change their genetic gender makeup. If they are a woman and want to be an man, they are prescribed hormones that will do so, or vice verse.

As for what Tbombz said about the legality of laws that prohibit anything that harms others, as he said AAS does not harm onlookers but there is the problem. One of the reasons steroids are illegal is the fact that part of the misconception about AAS is that it does cause harm to outsiders. This is based on the idea of things like "Roid Rage." If "Roid Rage" is real, obviously it would be a threat to society. The problem with the this is that there is no scientific proof that "Roid Rage" exist. Every study done on the subject has proven that it in fact does not exist and that it is nothing more then an artificially created stigma created by some users based on "What they have heard and been told."

Couldn't be said any better Rim.  Its my body and I have to deal with the consequences.  Alcohol and tobacco are legal and last time I check they aren't the best things for you.

a lot of good point here. I think all this is very hypocrite I ll try to write something about it later and  I ll use a english dictionnary so It can take a time.

If you have any kind of size at all, write about how it should be illegal if you don't want everyone assuming you're on.  Writing a paper saying you think juice should be legal can only cause you trouble.
