You can't really directly compare between rich and regular men taxes since most rich men pay their taxes in a form of a business that pay taxes and not a paycheck.
It's not that simple to say that companies make tons of money and they need to pay more, companies also work on small margins and without them there will be no paychecks! It's much more complicated, and it's especially stupid to look at one of the worlds biggest companies such as Exxon mobile and complain, companies like that employ THOUSANDS of people directly and many more as sub contractors and suppliers, also unlike an individual they exist for DECADES and invest billions every year so its not that surprising that they make good money and its not a bad thing either.
You need to understand that when you change taxes by 2-3% a very small number for a presidential campaign, it can be the entire of the lion share of profit margin of MANY companies and in the bottom line will cause less taxes to be collected and will cause more unemployment.
