you wouldnt kill a puppy, so why kill a roach?

they are both life. Sure a puppy is cute and a spider is scary, but we go around with our own brainwashed minds thinking "well, its only an insect, so it needs keelin!" sure i kill roaches and shit just like anyone else,  im just asking to take a look in another perspective. that roach is just trying to live like you are, it didnt ask to be put here anymore than you.

Same with vegetarians saying that eating animal meat is murder. Do they not realise that plants are living things as well?

No, It's a bullshit point. It's not about "living things" but about "sentient things" or "conscious things". Plants can't think or feel pain, animals can. I'd rather kill something that can't think or feel than something that can.
