Two Reasons:  1) Religious reasons, or 2) it was to late to save him... :-X  I could not find any confirmed reason for his refusal!!! :-X

i did not know he refused blood.  What religion allows the drug use of pro Bbing but not medical drug use to save you?

Who said that he refused a blood transfusion?? Sources??

Btw I highly doubt that a blood transfusion could save you life when your liver is already broken to pieces and you have multiple heart attacks every week and a 700 gr heart.

AFAIK he didn't even wake up from the coma after the operation. I couldn't find a German source that claims he refused a blood transformation. My guess is that the English Wikipedia article is wrong.

If he really refused it, he probably was member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, which I highly doubt.

Pure bullshit, I'm sure he defenetely

1. didn't refuse a blood transfusion

and

2. a blood transfusion wouldn't have saved his life. His organs were completely messed up already, this dude was a walking dead for months already.

That's what went over the wire in Germany (in short english translation):

- 13.3.1996: strong stomach pain -> hospital
- internal bleeding in the stomach
- successful operation to stop the bleeding

- autopsy: numerous, large liver tumors and acute poisioning supposedly from AS and amphetamines

I guess that's all the legit information available regarding his death.

munzer's LIVER had MELTED
he didn't have a liver
so giving blood wouldn't do much good
and his kidneys failed
and heart soon followed
diuretic and steroid abuse leads to death  :-\
