I thought it was a dream last night but they finally did it! I was in 3rd grade in 1980 so and it was a huge deal around here back then.  This a big deal to me because just a few seasons ago I thought this would NEVER happen in my life time. I'm sooooo happy right now. GO PHILLY!!!

I was only a month old in 80'. I remember being really upset in 93. Last night was a very good time. Riot police all over my neighborhood.

I'm gonna try to make it to the parade today, but it's gonna be tough because I have to work at 4:30 and it's gonna be hard to catch a train back to Atlantic City on time.

Our department is 5 guys and 3 of them are going down. 2 have tickets into the Linc. One so far has given up trying to get down there because he's too lazy and fat to catch a cab and the regional rails are all sold out. I've lived in Philly all my life. I don't want to be around 2 million of them world series or not.

If I worked in Center City I'd probably be there. I'm about 6 miles away. I'm watching the feed online of the parade. It's a nightmare. NYC at least is used to a ton of people.

Actually the parade part sucked.we got into NYC real early got right up next to a barrier and couldn't move the entire time.I swear if you jumped up you wouldn't be able to touch the ground because you were packed in so tight


...but the bars afterword were friggin awesome
