Yeah, I do that too, kind of a geek for fantasy, reading Robert Jordan right now.  But we are really slow on saturdays, and I dont think I could read for 8 hours straight no matter how good of a book it is.

Yep, good read so far, Im on the third book. 

They are very good.  I can't remember what number I got to (6 or 7?) but I decided not to buy them anymore until he was done writing the series.  I'd get annoyed because I couldn't wait for the next book to come out.

Do you know if he's written the concluding book yet?

Actually he died before he could write the last book.   According to his wife he left a bunch of notes on what should happen and they have a time of writers trying to put it together for him.  Sad he didn't get to see his work finished.
