However, BUSH has him beat,

After 8 years,  10 trillion in debt, BUSH socialism, 6.5% unemployment, 2 on going wars, the republican party losing its identity.

Obama can only hope to do as much   ;D

I know, right after 6 years of total republican control.  ;D

Yes the republican whored them selves out just like any typical group of politicians (dems included) and enjoyed the benefits of a thriving housing market, of course until the bottom fell out and started pointing fingers while they converted more and more to socialism by joining Comrade BUSH is the great bail out.

Your former Messiah Clinton admitted this crisis was mostly his and the Democrats fault due to strong resistance against Republicans request for more regulation.

And let's not forget Obama rule in joining ACORN to help them train people to intimidate banks and later to sue banks to give money to deadbeats.

So please land from your dream land.

Ah yes, while in my dream land I ran across a fat republican riding the bubble and enjoying its benefits.

My Messiah?   Is that all loser repubs can squirt out now?    Your messiah this , your messiah that?

It was a housing boom fuel by bad policies.  (Oddly lack of regulation), polices that both entities fed off of and enjoyed.   You say strong resistance?   ::)  they haD TOTAL POWER FOR 6 YEARS.

And in the process the republican party become socialist and forgot who it was.

Now we have 2 democrat partys.  One more liberal than the other.   Jump for joy!  ::)

Thank you George.

Wow, shows the dumbing down of politics if you think that raising money is not actually eroding the democratic process.

dude you are fvcking funny.

On a serious note, people voted for Obama for many reasons.  One was that he's entrenched in the "order of BS" that many politicians from Washington are.  He has, strong ideals, not that agree with them, but that he is an idealist that's wants to try and change.

I understand why opponents of Obama say people who voted for him don't really know what he's about.  It only takes a listening to him for a little while to see that he's a way left liberal to the core.   But many figure, they already have been abused for 8 years by the false representation of the other side of the spectrum to the point that they are more than willing, in fact yearning for someone with a message of change and hope.   That's way he's the president elect.
