Is the 'Jesse Jackson' brand name too damaged...
« on: November 16, 2008, 06:53:32 AM »

...to put Jesse Jackson, Jr. in Obama's vacated Senate seat?

I don't know that much about JJ Jr., but has he ever distanced or even differentiated himself from his jackass daddy?

It may not be fair to the son, but I'm afraid that he must be punished for his father's sins.

Do not give him the seat in the Senate.

Didn't he come out against the remarks that Jesse made about Obama in the "off-air" Fox segment?  Other than that I've never heard of him, but the apple couldn't have fell too far from the tree in my opinion.

US Senate and House of Rep look like a list of 3rd World criminals.  What difference would it make...as far as his dad goes?  If he is a good fit...then so be it.

Sub-500 Credit
Arrest
Assaults
Drugs
Stalking
DUI
AA Members

And I can remember the other stuff off the list 240 posted.  His dad and the H/S have the same problems the rest of the world has.

Peace.

If the kid was willing to throw his idiot dad under the bus, then maybe he's alright.  Let me look into this.

JJ Jr is almost the complete opposite of Jesse Jackson.  They are nothing alike.

Jesse Jackson Jr. doesn't have any views like his old man does, or if he does he hasn't expressed them in public.  Actually, a pretty well spoken dude, conservative talk shows around here have him on every now and then cuz he seems to have answers other than "Obama rules, nugga!"

As for his record in office, not sure, but he's got the "cool guy" thing going for him, like Obama.

Yes he spoke out strongly against his father Jesse about the - comments Jesse made about Obama.

The kid, jr. is smart and has a future in politics.
