Joint support supplements??

Hey guys just wondering what is the best joint supplements out there, also is there any foods that are helpful with keeping joints active and healthy?

I use Super Cissus by USPLabs, by far the best joint support I've used.  I've tried the bulk cissus as well and that wasn't nearly as effective.  I believe Orange Triad (a multi) has joint support in it as well but I haven't tried it.  If you are only after joint support then check out Super Cissus.

I've been using Flexion for years.  Proud to say... 45 years old and still no joint issues!!!

Pineapple has papain which is a very minor anti inflamatory.

Get something with a blend of the big 3, Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM

Go to Walmart or Sam's Club or similar store and get the cheapest you can find of:

Glucosamine HCI 1500mg (take 2-3 a day)
Fish Oil Caps 1000 ml (take 6-9 a day)
Vitamine E 400 IU (take 1-2 a day)

Add a few walnuts to your oat meal in the morning.  Eat more tuna and salmon.

I take 10-15 grams of fish oil & 4-5 grams of MSM daily & don't have near the joint issues I had two years ago.

Thanks guys, I actually found a good priced MSM + Glucosamine supplement at WholeFoods and I've been taking it along with fish oil for the past week or so and I can already feel the difference. I was having some very moderate pain in my right elbow and shoulders, my joints were also cracking alot, and it is already clearing up, so thanks for the input!

          I remember reading on this site years ago about chondroitin being linked to prostate cancer. Is it true, and is this why you write not to take it ?

Apparently, until clinical trials can demonstrate its safety, chondroitin does not necessarily appear to cause prostate cancer, but it does appear to help speed prostate cancer progression if you already have it.  Some men may have the beginning stages of prostate cancer and don't know it yet, so better to be safe and stay away from chondroitin.  It is even possible that future clinical trials will demonstrate that chondroitin does cause prostate cancer.

Also chondroitin made from cow cartilage may cause mad cow decease if contaminated.

..."You can find versican on the surface of a wide range of cancer cell types. In general, the greater the amount of chondroitin-containing versican bound to the cancer cell, the more likely it is that the cancer cell will be able to spread widely throughout the body. There is sufficient documentation of this effect of versican for prostate cancer, melanoma, some brain tumors, and a range of other cancers. For example, the amount of chondroitin sulfate found associated with prostate cancer in radical prostatectomy specimens correlates with the risk of recurrent disease"...

Katalyst has a very good joint support pill out or theirs your standard glucosamin but the strongest is deca

get your info from pubmed, not the internet, do you have the abstracts from the journals this stuff was sourced from?


also, glucoscamine takes about 4 weeks to begin to work, celadrin added in will help speed it up.


cissus quadrangularis is a great supplement, and curcumin is a very good anti inflammatory joint supp.

other then that, fish oil and high dose vitamin c.

Who makes Deca??   I've been looking for a better joint sup, Triflex is pretty pricey (but works) and Orange Triad doesnt seem to be working.

A pharmacist told me a few years back that the link between prostate cancer and chondroitin was being studied.  The reason was because a larger percentage of prostate cancer patients had high levels of chondroitin in their systems so they were trying to figure out the link.

Even though there's no hard scientific evidence supporting glucosamine and MSM, I find my joints start to ache when I stop taking it.

vitamin C is the best for joints!!!  1 gram in the morning and 1 gram before bed.
