The Obama/Clinton connection

Is this yet another sign that we are really going to see some bad times and possibly a depression? Is this a tool for distraction purposes?

I know the political left in the Democrats are a little disappointed that Obama has recruited people from the Clinton sphere and from the political right of the party.
Obama also backed Lieberman staying as chairman on the foreign board, despite Lieberman backing McCain. Obama has also already met with McCain to mend fences.

Appointing Clinton, Daeschle, and several other centrists/moderates won't please the more radical wing.

Therein lies the HUGE difference between the Democrats and the GOP.
The GOP caters to it's radical fringe and while neglecting and losing it's moderates in the process.
btw - most consider Hilary very left, ...more so than Bill. Infact, when Bill was up for re-election, many Dems grumbled about his MO, ...but they were comforted in knowing that Hilary would keep him to the left.

Exactly what in Hillary's track record do you consider being 'left'?
Her support of the war in Iraq?

Hilary's track record goes farther back than 2003, and includes her support for Universal Healthcare among other things.

Many moderates within the Democratic party supports universal healthcare.

Give me some examples of her being 'very left'.

Remember, this is the USA we're talking about. To you or I, Universal Healthcare may be a subject embraced by moderates, ...but in the USA, any talk about Universal Healthcare makes you a rabid, radical, left wing, pinko commie socialist. Especially if you're for a Hilary style of healthcare which is MANDATORY. Under Barack, ...it's an available option, ...under Hilary, it would have been MANDATORY.

Again, what other issues makes you consider her 'very left'?
