Bally's Hollywood is in the old Hollywood American Legion Stadium, a huge auditorium where many famous events have occurred, including the 1945 AAU Mr America, as well as many titled boxing matches. In the 1960s it was a tv studio for roller derby. Now I'm sure its a very prime piece of real estate, a block away from the Hollywood and Vine subway stop, across the street from the new W Hotel.
