"I've received a letter from someone offering training with Juanito to me, but I didn't care to accept it.

"(The letter) contained phone numbers that I could use to get in touch with Juanito, but I threw it away.

"I think it's unethical to accept the former coach of my opponent, and if Juanito is doing this with Rampage, he may do the same with me later."

Wanderlei Silva talking to Brazil Combate TV about Juanito Ibarra, the former coach of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, offer to train him for his upcoming bout with Rampage.

Wandy, unlike his ring and cage personna, is all class.  Very nice guy outside of the ring/cage.

Damn straight.  Just listen to him talk on the mic. He always compliments something about the other fighter, and stays away from trash. And he genuinely loves the fight fans of the world.

wandy has matured alot as a fighter but more importantly,as a human being.if you are secure with yourself you dont need to act like a knuckle head in public, dana and lorenzo had to break thier asses to get mma mainstream and also to get the mma athletes recognized in general, but more importantly as very ordinary, unnassuming and nice guys.we all know not everyone who fights in the ufc is gonna be a model citizen, but pretty much every fighter ive met over the last 10 years or so have been extremely cool, matt hughes was an exception.even the fighters that where supposed to be obnoxios and rude where cool as anything.the tank and baroni where extremely cool to me,ive met tank at the trump plaza bar in atlantic city about 2 hours after the weigh ins for ufc 50.he was drinking his stollies or whatever the name was, lol.he was as funny as a stand up comedian imo,he told me the story about when him and his boys beat up ufc fighter patrick smith in a elavator,it was funny to hear him tell it.he told me afew funny short stories then he tucked me in and kissed me goodnight, lol.hes a very intelligent guy, dont let his look fool ya,he told me he has aton of real estate, owns a bar in huntington beach and still got juicy monthly checks from the wrestling federation he was in,not bad imo.
