From what I heard, he pulled off the amazing landing, then after everyone was off the
Plane, still went and checked 3 or 4 more times. Definitely a hero in my book.

Will anyone claim that this was staged by Bush's 'people'?

He is not a hero ,his life was on the line also ,what he supposed to do crush the airplane against a building  ::)

If he isn't a hero, who is? The most heroic act what you can provide in that situation, is shitting your pants and crying for mercy, but he bring the plane down without casualties. He is a hero, and you are just another brattish little wanker, which has no life outside of the getbig forums.  Difference between you two is obvious:  He fly passenger jets and fuck air hostesses, you write an another crappy comment, and fuck your right hand...

Leasten retard, his job is to fly airplanes and land them safely, no matter what the circumstances are ,he did a great job but he is not a hero, that's his job.
Firefighters that die on 9/11 weren't heroes either ,they were doing their job ,the one they trained for and got paid for.
Soldiers, cops , heart surgeons ......etc.  aren't heroes either.
A hero is someone who risks his own life to save someone else for free  ;)

Sorry to to say, but I don't think that people of this universe has vote you to be that person, whose job is decide a definition of heroism, because of simple reason: you are just another teen geek without no life experience what so ever, and therefore too young to be a nominee for that job. When you grow up (if that is ever going to happen), you feel differently about the matter. Meanwhile just go back to your closet and wait there.
