Goodrum is a character. He was 2nd out of 2 competitors in his class in the Metrolina. A trophy is a trophy and he didn't buy it. The guy speaks his mind and is still around Getbig no matter what others say about and to him.

He paid probably atleast $50 to enter ;)

Look you people, Chick said I was the only competitor so who the hell am I to challenge the distinguished, appointed-for-life pro athletes rep? Goodrum insists I am a plumber living in New Zealand. They found this on the net. Must be true. I have to accept what these noble blokes have discovered.

Who are you to challenge? I dont know....I guess being IN IT would give you some sort of idea if there was anyone else in the show....but you have refused to answer time after time...and Musclememory lists you as the only competitor.

And the unclaimed Antarctica Footlocker gig carried over to 1971's runner-up?

You know, Bob, that contest was a long, long time ago. I can't honestly remember if anyone else competed. I guess we will have to go by what Muscle Memory says.

When you get older you will find that the body tends to fall apart little by little. You will need to wear glasses at about 50 to read small print. Your hair thins and you start getting lines of character.

My daddy always says once you pass 50, whatever doesn't hurt doesn't work.

Come on, you can figure it out.

Guess what age-group we're talking of here.

When you are 10-14 years, who do you pick on in school? The tiny kid or the one dwarfing you? Classic psychology.

This was back in the day mind you, when toddlers weren't packing guns and knives.

Yes, back then they judged more on the physical size of your body to determine the degree to which you were a physical threat.
