First off: You would support the Scientology, that in itself is not a good thing by any means.
Second: As a German and long time interested individual of anything that happend in my contries history let me tell you folks....

THIS MOVIE IS BULLSHIT!!!!

Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg the person that smuggled the bomb to kill hitler was NOT doing this because he wanted to save the world - he did this because he and many others wanted a regime changed - not because of the holocaust.

However in the movie they portray him like he was this ubergood person that acted because he as a Germany office cannot life with the fact that so many people got killed yadaydadaydad all bullshit.

Stauffenberg was a man of his times, he was probably not a bad person and there are accounts that he didn't liked that Jews were getting killed, but probably not of humanitarian reason but he was more of the believe that it was below a German officers and aristocrats to simply exterminate people.

Die Bevölkerung ist ein unglaublicher Pöbel, sehr viele Juden und sehr viel Mischvolk. Ein Volk, welches sich nur unter der Knute wohlfühlt. Die Tausenden von Gefangenen werden unserer Landwirtschaft recht gut tun. (The population here are unbelievable rabble; a great many Jews and a lot of mixed race. A people that is only comfortable under the lash. The thousands of prisoners will serve our agriculture well.)

I'm not saying what Stauffenberg did doesn't deserved to be filmed - but not like it has been with Tom Cruise - watch the trailer with open eyes and you KNOW it's totaly and utterly bullshit.

As soon as Tom Cruise with no accent's in it you know there's no authenticity.

It's doing well in America, the audiences that go to this are the same ones who went to the fake JFK.

I've always been extremely interested in the Third Reich.

I saw the movie.

I don't see that as the only thing regarding the Jews as Stauffenberg's motivation in the movie.  They implied that as being part of it, but also as a way to change the course of the war.  Hitler was making major f-ups about that time.

It wasn't a bad movie IMO.  Cruise was certainly the weakest link. All the other actors were superb IMO
