Tons of beggars down here in South Florida, almost every street corner and outside every grocery and convenient store. I only give to the ones with missing limbs. I feel bad for all of them, but the ones with all limbs are able to do something. This one time I was sitting at a light on an off ramp. I had the targa top off my car and a homeless man with half of one arm missing and one hole leg was gone, ;walked up and was talking to me through the top of the car. I felt terrible, I lost my job in October and I'm struggling, but I gave him what I had in my wallet 7 dollars
. I thought the gov. would have some sort of program for him. Not all of these people are bad, alot just stumbled into hard times and let it get the best of them or they have a mental/drug/drinking problem in which they lost control of their lives and hit rock bottom. I am not mean to them, their live are hard enough. They once were innocent little kids playing in the park like the rest of us, they just made some bad choices. No reason to be unkind to you unless they harass you or dont leave you alone or they dont take no for an answer.
