The inside joke is that from these shots, S.Ray dieted for 8 weeks straight(however cheated like a mofo) and never brought his carbs over 50grams(except for when he cheated)...The man was pretty much a mess going into the whole thing...Don't believe what he is stating...The reason I know this is because, why hasn't he gotten into better shape since these photos came about?
Truth is that S.Ray was one of the best bodybuilders of all time...No question about it...However he was so because of genetics and mostly massive amounts of drugs...Now that he is over 40 and doesn't want to use massive amounts of drugs, he is finding out that his old methods are basically useless...A man his age should have muscle maturity that is basically unmatched...However he does not...His genetic code was to end up as a short pudgy fat man...Lee Priest is from the same mold...
Just because these two great bodybuilders were unbelievable at such a young age doesn't mean that they can change the outcome of the inevitable genetic code/clock...
For S.Ray to ever get back into shape, he needs to do one thing...Which is to follow a Palumbo style diet....
The interesting thing about Shawn is that when he does decide to get back into shape, he is going to tell everyone he did it on his old school diet...Don't believe that for a second...It will be a lie...This fat pudgy character will have to really suffer to get back into shape and he will have to do it on very low carbs...The reason he can't get into shape now is because he is too much of a pussy to suffer...Priest is the same way...However Priest has no problem bombarding his system with mega doses of hormones...He is still hanging on to the superman complex that in the end will be his kryptonite...
