While he probably mispoke, he was technically correct. A web site's actual address/location IS a number. An IP address is a numerical identification for a web site's location. The web address you type in (such as getbig.com) actually has to be translated to a number by what's called DNS. For example, getbig.com is at 216.237.124.242.

Sorry don't buy this because I've never heard anyone in the industry refer to a websites IP address as a "websites' number"; that's after 2 years at university and 5 in the field in numerous countries.
