Revelation question.
« on: March 24, 2009, 08:33:40 AM »
"Surely, I come quickly."

Revelation 22:20

It's been what, 2000 years?  Not very quick.

I'm sure there is some explanation.  Anyone care to explain?

I've always read it as when it happens, it will happen quickly.

It's hard to answer this because of your lack of belief in the Holy Scriptures. However, I'll give it a shot. God's time is not relative to ours. In short, a thousand years to us, is like 1 day to God.  :)

Not really, the Hebrew Scriptures speak about it as well, which would put the time beyond 2000 years.  :)

Stella, the JW have a book dedicated to Revelation ..called the Revelation Book that has actually been the topic of discussion in many religions for it's accuracy and interpretation on many of the literally and figurative scenario's written in Revelation. It does have their belief systems in some parts but for the most part it is really interesting.

You can call the local Kingdom Hall and ask for someone to drop one by if you really wanted it.
