calories seem low, but i'm no expert.
at least you're starting that big and are very realistic about your weight loss numbers - if you're over 20%, you're going to lose 40+ pounds. Many guys don't realize that. They are 25% body fat at 210 (like I once was!) and they think they'll be 190 ripped. Doesn't happen. 165 is much more realistic

On a side note, yesterday I heard two guys in the locker room discussing their keto diets. They were maybe 155 and 160 pounds, respectively. At 5 foot 10 or so. Lanky as can be, talking about how they're down to so many carbs per day. I'm no prize chicken myself, but I thought it was funny people that small are trying to get ripped.
