Five Signs That Your Presidential Administration is in Trouble

Probably the most telling part of President Obama's appearance on 60 Minutes was when Steve Kroft asked questions about Obama's habit of cracking Jokes when he is discussing the toughest problems the country is facing:

STEVE KROFT: You're sitting here. And you're-- you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, "I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about (LAUGHTER) money--” How do you deal with-- I mean, wh-- explain -

PRESIDENT OBAMA:Well--

STEVE KROFT:--the mood and your laughter.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Yeah, I mean, there's got to be--

STEVE KROFT: Are you punch drunk?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to (LAUGHS) get you through the day. You know, sometimes my team-- talks about the fact that if-- if you had said to us a year ago that-- the least of my problems would be Iraq, which is still a pretty serious problem-- I don't think anybody would have believed it. But-- but we've got a lot on our plate. And-- a lot of difficult decisions that we're going to have to make.

Punch Drunk, nervous laughter what ever you want to call it , the real fact is that the President is beginning to realize how "over his head" he really is. Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard says its obvious that his Presidency is flailing.

What is happening faster than he thought is the fall in his fame. He believed people would be so caught up in the hype for so long that he could essentially get away with all that he is doing without being questioned. Thankfully people have woken up to what is happening and are asking questions...SERIOUS QUESTIONS, as they see a person who doesn't have answers to anything and sadly like Bush is NOT taking anything serious. Talking about basketball games, bowling scores, making jokes as people are losing their jobs in mass, losing their homes in mass, losing their savings, pensions, investments, while new laws or regulations are crippling the populaces ability to do anything. With the poor prospect of finding new jobs or creating new businesses, with the nonsense giving TRILLIONS to companies which has left america now 9 TRILLION more dollars in debt is taking its toll. I expect big marches on Washington soon and maybe some violence against those who have brought america to this point....
