Also, besides his legs, Platz wasn't a very good bber. Good condition but lacking in pretty much all areas besides legs. In his comeback I bet his legs will be pathetic thus making him look like a bigger pile of older shit.

I understand that completely, but this is different. It isn't like pottery, welding or the driving range. He actually has to look decent because that's what his whole legacy and career is based off of. There is no faking it and he won't be able to hide the fact that he will look like shit. Even if he trains and diets hard and pumps himself full of the most exotic drugs, he will still look bad.

I may be wrong though, who knows.

I think he doesn't care what others think of him. I think that he would think that he busted his ass like he used to in the gym to present a physic in his mind worth while. He just wants to feel the passion of being onstage after months of hard work payed off. Also to let his fans see him one to a few more times before he lets it all go. Yes, he wont look like what he use to but that isn't the point. I also think he wont do all the drug that most people think he will do. If he's smart he'll keep it nice and simple and put allot of hard work in between. I think everybody deserves one come back in there life, even if they don't look up to par with what people want or expect.

You have a good point, but chet yorton made a comeback and I think he looked great for being what, mid 70s or so? And Serge Nubret still looks great (if he's not in a coma now that is). But yea larry scott, samir, etc, all made comebacks that sucked.

yes I'm sure it does suck......maybe he is just trying to revisit past glory.......it really is bad for a person when you have a beautiful body......put in all that hard work...and then you grow a little older and stop taking steroids and it's all gone......and you look in the mirror and you just don't seem to be the man you used to be....it can be hard to accept......so I can understand why he may be trying to come back......not to mention I'm sure that when you are on roids and your body is huge and primed you must be a monster in bed....then your body shrinks and your just an averge joe....very tough to take..

For some it's not bad at all, if the training and diet are solid and the genetics are good the aging process is seriously delayed. Ya i'm talking from experience.

Nope, not for everyone in middle age that extends into the early 60s now. After 65 it would get harder to avoid the downsides but middle age now extends longer and some people still look good.
