Maybe I'm a little bit ignorant on the subject- But I would think a PPV event could pay a minimum of 1000 bucks, even to a losing fighter.

To put yourself through a camp and all the other mental and physical anguish for less than one months rent+ food money for most people is unbelievable. They must be doing it for the love.
