Ive never had a good beer in my life till a couple months ago I tried a beer from some micro-brewery in chicago, all the big brands, budweiser etc all taste like shit, coors lite is tolerable.
in germany, you have tons of small breweries, some of them are monasteries that have been brewing beer for several hundred years. This beer alsways tastes better than the big breweries, same in germany. (Although i have to say that even som Krombacher is 100 times better than that american piss water.) American beer looks and smells like what i piss out after three bottles of german beer.
In china, quingdao(sp) where there used to be a german colony, they started tsingtao beer I am pretty sure and they still use the german brewary. in quingdao they actually give tourists a tsingtao beer wherever you go for free, mcdonals,restraunt,hotel, everywhere.looks fancy
Japanese beer is the same, mostly brewed by germans or japanese that learned in germany. It's okay. I like this a lot:
honestly i cant tell a difference from one beer to the next, only slight variations its all the same
