They may be a private religious institution with the right to set forth rules and regulations, ...however their rules and regulations must be accountable to the laws of the land. If his civil rights were violated, they are wrong. Your argument is a weak, feeble and impotent one. It's the equivalent of saying that a private muslim school in America has the right to perform honour killings against female students.

not true again, while working for a company you may have to abstaine from certain activities or certain things does that violate your civil rights...not dating in the work place, no drinking in the work place, no off color language in the work place? your arguement is the ignorant one when you stop to think about it if he knew the rules going in he shouldnt be suprised when this happend.

They arent denying him any rights he can go work there all he wants he simply cant work there and go to school there thats all...you guys seem to get confused alot about violating civil rights no body is saying gays cant marry they can marry anybody of the opposite sex they want there is no more civil right violation there then there is to me a straight man.

There's no rule saying a particular group owns a word and can dictate it only gets used in one specific manner/context. Those stupid commercials are proof that political correctness has gone too far. I use 'gay' all the time and will continue doing so.

I know 3 people who graduated from GC College, and am familiar with the school’s student atmosphere & demographic from the late 80’s.
I don’t know what they’re like now, but it sounds like they’ve taken things to the next level.

Whatever we think, they’re a private institution that can make their own rules.
