I saw that interview and it made me very nervous.  I also saw her in The Daily Show a few weeks ago and she seemed almost clueless (and I assume she's a pretty smart person).

she was much better on Maher but the reality that Bush/Paulsen just opened up the US Treasury to the banks who created the fucking problem in the first place and they can't figure out where the money went......

when you think about that for a second or two it's fucking creepy

it makes me very uncomfortable

100%  - my soon to be father-in-law argued with me about TARP.  He is a finance guy and I told him this was going to be a disaster.  He wont discuss this with me anymore.

Whatever, I knew I was right at the time and he does not want to admit he was wrong on this.

Why would you assume that? After hearing Joe Biden and Nepolitano I dont think there are very many smart people around Obama.

I am not arguing with him, just stating my opinion, which happened to be right and born out by fact.

Sometimes, people are "over educated" to the point that they cant see things right in front of their faces.

I have a JD but am realstic to know what goes on in reality, not the ivory tower nonsense fed to us, like TARP.

is being right worth having a pissed off future father in law?

my Dad and I don't see agree on almost anything regarding politics but we can still talk about it without pissing each other off (most of the time)

I've learned that it's not worth it to be right (or think I am) and have him angry

They think they are smarter than me and and hate to think that I know more than they do on issues like this.

They are wall street, I am main street.
