Who Put The Soap Suds In The Flatiron Building Fountain?

It's one of Toronto's most recognizable landmarks but you might not have ever seen it looking quite like this. The city woke up to a flood of suds on Thursday morning, after pranksters poured detergent into the fountain outside the Flatiron Building near Church and Wellington.

Berczy Park looked like it had been hit by a snowfall as passersby viewed the site with a mix of amusement and bewilderment. The flowing water multiplied the suds, which overflowed onto the sidewalk and kept growing.

It's hoped the rain that's hitting the GTA will wash most of it away. It's possible authorities will never find the culprit or culprits who aided in this real life "soap" opera - you might say they made a "clean" getaway.

Whoever it was, ...I hope they used phosphate-free detergent.  :-\
