Sorry about your loss.  I had a cat for 16 years that died a few years back.  Looks like ol scooter never missed a meal.

Thank you all....Scooter will be missed....the wife misses him a ton.  The capper for the day was the $875 I paid to the vet.  He's a great vet, but that was a like a kick in the nuts on top of the loss.

Was a combo of old age (Maine Coon cats live an average of 9-11 years...he was almost 10) and developed a sudden kidney infection that got out of control....very sudden and sad.
