« on: June 17, 2009, 10:20:33 AM »
Hey guys I was just wondering does aspirin have any type of negetive effect on muscle pumps? I know it's thins the blood ,so taking it for instance in a ECA stack pre workout would this have any effect of blood flow (pump)?

if your dieting then dont worry about it, but if your trying to put on size then asprin wont affect pump, but it will affect gains.

Not challenging or doubting you - just curious.

The inflammation process is necessary and NSAIDS reduce this. In practice this really makes 0.0 difference. (assuming you are not swallowing a whole box of aspirin every day)

You should be fine taking ECA prior to training. However, the aspirin isn't necessarily required in the ECA "stack" & either way you're only taking a small dose (about an "baby" aspirin worth). Shit what you take for a headache is usually 4-7 times that amount.
