Its okay. Seems only good though for more reps, so instead of getting 8-9 you may get 10-11 on a given exercise. Don't expect a 2 rep max to turn into a 5 rep max though. I hate that itchy feeling though, so I stopped using it.

It seems to work. I take it in divided doses 3x per day and it does help to increase endurance during workouts. The extra 1 or 2 reps that beta-alanine may give you does not seem significant but that little difference may translate into more muscle growth which is always a welcome side effect.

Never taken beta alanine except for in results. I have to say that it definitely worked though.

say man i know ALN doesn't state this or have it posted anywhere but I MYSELF SUGGEST taking 3-4 scoops instead of just two due to size... creatine is stored throughout the body in the bones and in LBM... so obviously you'll get more benefit from taking MORE instead of the 2 scoop recommendation per serving. Obviously someone who weights 150lbs will benefit more from two scoops than someone who weighs 300 or better..

definately give it a shot.. my workouts are BLISTERING NOW! just check out the benching.. not only did technique help but results makes me feel GOOOOOOOOOOOOD! HAHA !

The first time I tried it is when I bought Phosphagen Elite, on sale.

The last supplement I used with Beta-Alanine in it was NaNO Vapor. That is some good stuff (I particularly like the Blue Raspberry one). Granted, I haven't used it in over a year (and won't do so, UNTIL GNC marks the price down again). But, of the supplements I've used with BA in it, NaNO Vapor was the best.

I may have to try an alternate product with BA. If you were to buy it alone, is there a best method for its use? Should you combine it with something else like sugar to increase effects? Never really looked into it.

I do find Beta Alanine effective.  You can feel your finger tips tingling when you take a pretty high dose of it.

Too me it has made many of the pre workout drinks more effective, and you'll notice you get stronger when you first start taking it.

If your gonna take it on its own I would just take it before you workout and maybee one other time through out the day.
