They are both overrated.
Denis James was good 4 or years ago, he still has his name but lost anything that looks like a symmetry.
If you just go for pure size: Markus Ruhl won the NY Pro. If you go for balance: Hide & Tarek won!

...and it really was no contest.

DJ is 40...his time is up...specially since he could not even take down a rookie.

Uhh, no, Evan was given the contest by Steve. Hype, much Hype about the local guy. He didn't Dominate like Vic when he won the NOC, he didn't have the caliber  or qaulity of rivals like Phil did with his 1ST TWO wins HIS FIRST YEAR, RIGHT AFTER WINNING HIS PRO CARD! Shades of Flex Wheeler right there. And DJ competed in one of those, and his condition and size back then would have or should garanteed a lock on 1st.

A win is a when, but lax, as much as you guys push him, Evan doesn't have the goods, Wolfe and Heath will be either a Arnold winner or MR. O before Evan will be.

I spoke to DJ a couple of years ago when he was doing a photo shoot for Chris Lund, at Koloseum. He said that he had allready accomplished everything he wanted to in bodybuilding, and that he was on his way out in a few years. He then mentioned that competitive bodybuilding was just fun for him at this point, and when he felt like he wasnt having fun anymore, he would quit with no regrets.

A cool guy, and from talking to him I highly doubt he is GH15, though he has no doubt been slinging drugs for a long time....unless that San contract is paying him wheelbarrels of cash....  ::)

The thing i dont understand with gh15, sure he knows a lot, but i just dont get the negativity towards bbing.

I mean if he hates it so much then why is he a pro? sooooo weird.

Oh, he likes "the truth" and hates "liars", yea fucking right.  ::)

a great asset for the board though

IF they win THIS year.

Look for Evan to win in 2010

And VM...never...he is blackballed from winning do to his crime sprees. Much of what else you say may be true. But Evan is good enough, and what the marketers want.

All that matters in the end, to them, is $$$
