look again, it does hit him in the chain, seems he has to change his hand position cause his belly gets in the way. I'm leaning towards real, many people that for some reason or another film themselves, we know there's zillions of those silly vids around. Sometimes they go awry and there's always someone helpful enough to let us enjoy the mess in slo mo.

a friend had one of these silly machine in his room. Pathetic pieces of crap equipment are suposed to do it all in one, but barely allow you to do one exercise correctly.
