Bodybuilding is all about sacrifice

For me, I can't take the chance that a wedding buffet will have the foods required to build a perfect body.

Here are just some of the events that I've sacrificed due to living the bodybuilding dream.

Father's funeral

Brother's/sister's weddings

My son's birth/christening

no family events or anything

but i'd say avoiding alcohol in certain social situations made people like me less

I would never take that chance either. That's why I always pack a cooler filled with at least a full day's worth of muscle building meals, shakes, supplements, etc and never leave home without it. That way, I don't have to miss weddings, funerals, etc - as long as the ceremonies don't interfere with my workout schedule, of course.
