Palin's Bright Future

Did conservative Sarah Palin self-destruct by resigning as governor of Alaska? Is she toast in politics? I doubt it.

What's the approval rating of most of our politicians at the national level? What kind of image does the typical politician in this country project? Most, of course, don't have our respect.

Along comes a maverick. Along comes a politician that is totally different. She thinks out of the box. She's not part of the establishment and let's us all know she doesn't want to be. How refreshing is that!

Why is the liberal left so afraid of this woman that they throw any resemblance of professionalism and objectivity right out the window when reporting about her?

The liberals call her stupid but end up the ones "getting stuck on stupid" by going after her appearance, her children -- her personal life. If Palin is stupid because she has a gaffe here and there what does that make Barack Obama who has twice as many?

More than 14 ethics charges coming from the left, and she was exonerated on every one. Her enemies might end up being sorry that they had a part in driving her from office as governor of Alaska. As a potential national figure, rather than state governor, liberals may have shot themselves in the foot.

Sarah Palin is 45 years old. She has untold possibilities in spite of her resignation. Who says she has to be the Republican presidential candidate for 2012? What's wrong with four or even eight years down the road after that? What's wrong with her stepping down to give speeches, write a book, be a leader in returning this country to conservative principles, paying down legal fees, etc?

The heat she has taken from the left wing liberal media is nothing short of pathetic. Her situation shows, without a doubt, that some journalism in this country has reached low life rock bottom. If there was any doubt about MSM being biased the attacks on her have put that whole debate to rest.

Palin is a Christian, obviously very family oriented. She's for traditional marriage and pro life. Most Americans identify with those values. She's for smaller government, ethics reform, personal responsibility, capitalism rather than socialism. With a son in the military she believes in supporting our troops. What's wrong with that picture liberals? And that's the whole point! She embraces those values that most Americans embrace and liberals don't like it. From personal experience, even with family and friends, when liberals can't attack you on the real issues, they attack you personally. It's a big part of the liberal playbook. When you can't attack the message go after the messenger -- personally.

I say "you go, girl!" There are millions upon millions of us that are in your corner. We think you did the right thing by resigning and know you're not a quitter.

Actually, it's easy to tell when we conservatives have a good candidate. It's when MSM is unrelenting in their trashing. How about that whopping Gallup poll approval rating of 72 percent for Palin just a few days ago? What politician (figuratively speaking) wouldn't kill for those numbers?

Its all fun Hugo.

Look, I am honest about my liking of Palin, and also her faults.

She needs a lot of work, but I think after 4 years of this present insanity, she will have a much easier time than if Obama simply moved to the center and stopped the craziness.

Why do we have Obama? A sinlge term Senator with no experience.

Because McCain was horrible and people were sick opf Bush and Hikllary Clinton.

It works both ways.

Obama had timing on his side.

Promoting an agenda with sexy images of Sarah to earn a vote is exactly HOW different from the so-called "race" vote?

At this point I'd probably vote for anyone who will stop the far left agenda and big government push...but I think the republicans will be making a mistake if they nominate Palin in 2012.  I think that nearly guarantees another 4 yrs of the Obama administration's leftist policies.
