Well, if we aren't self sufficient enough to earn an income, how can we in the middle class pay for all of those "socialist" programs like...

The military
The police
The firemen
The hospitals
Public Education

Medicare
Medicaid
Politician's healthcare and salaries
All of these programs you, me and everyone in this country enjoys.
It ain't pretty, but it is what it is and has always been so.

Stop me anytime....
Sandra
These prevent problems in society.  Politicians' salaries should be cut and they should have to use the same health care as the one that is being stuffed down our throats.  I would crack up if they told Ted Kennedy "you are old, and are likely to die.  No health care for you."  You know that is what they are going to tell old people if this crap passes.

Sandra, check the news.  Apparently there have been a number of Medicare fraud cases totaling over 360 million dollars; great program.  Also keep in mind we offer these medical programs to people not born in this country and it's costing us big time.  The same goes for education.  We pay for illegal children to use our schools.  It needs to stop and the programs will have less problems.

Because we are with what is going on.

Bush set this mess in motion, but Obama has put his foot on the accelerator faster than you can imagine.

Even the Chinese are telling him to slow down.  Dont take my word for it, listen to what the Chinese, Indians, Russians, Germany, etc are all saying - slow down with the spending.  Its reckless!

im at my desk all day before and after.  I like a of sites, but Getbig's political forum has probably the best balance of most I have seen.  Additionally, most of the posters, even the ones I disagree with, are pretty reasonable and good to deal with.  There is a lot of back and forth which is good.

Yeah, last night did 315 x 10 on flat bench no spot.    315 for 5 on incline after that no spot.  I was happy with that.  if I need a spot, I wont count it as a lift.

I can do about 405 flat bench no spot.  Im stocky and built like a fire hydrant so its easy for me.

Best squat is 495 no spot.  I never had the courage to go higher as I got older and did not want my back to get screwed up.  I stay at 315 for 10-15 reps now.

Once I hit 30 y/o, I still lift good and heavy, but not like I used to.  There is a point where you have to be smart too.  I cant afford an injury that will keep me from work as I work for myself.

I am 34 now and actually competed in some natural shows back around 1999-2002.  I never did the sauce.  I dont have the discipline with the diet to do it now and like to drink w my boys and go to Yankees games etc.  Those were the days!

I post at WSJ, BusinessInsider.com,  LoHud.com, Freerepublic

I like Getbig the best though because there is really a lot of different people here which is cool.
