He actually compared Vick tryin to get back into the NFL to what Jackie Robinson had to go through to break the color barrier in baseball.

Would somebody please get Jesse Jackson a new playbook? When he's reduced to comparing Michael Vick to Jackie Robinson, the strategy is for the dogs.

Jackson has started campaigning for Vick to get back into the NFL. No surprise there. The surprise is that he'd drag Robinson's good name into the fight.

I figured some things would be off limits even to Jackson. The comparison shows (choose one):

A) How out of touch Jackson is.
B) How desperate he is for attention.
C) How we'd all be better off if he would just go back to demanding more autopsies for Michael Jackson and leave sports alone.

The correct answer, of course, is all of the above. Unfortunately, Jackson still thinks the best way to deal with any situation is to pour gasoline on it.

He called the Virginia Pilot last week to lobby for Vick. Then he told the New York Times that NFL owners might be colluding against Vick.

I hope Jackie Robinson's family responds to this, to compare a pioneer to a guy who just got out of jail is pretty dumb.

Because a large percentage of non-Black America sees Jesse Jackson running his mouth and thinks he represents the views of a majority of black Americans, just because he was previously involved in the Civil Rights Movement.

This helps to increase or maintain resentment towards Blacks, which helps to keep the decision-makers in positions of power.

How they call themselves Reverend is beyond me.  And yes I believe Vick should be given another chance, he paid his debt & is entitled to earn a living. If he's caught again doing wrong,then that's on him, but he should def. be giving the opportunity.
