While I disagree with you a lot, the quality of your posts of late has been really good.
Profits made from human suffering does not appeal to me and all the current plans just continue the current system as it is. It is not cost-effective in any way over the long term and as long as there is complete corporate control with Private Insurance companies dictating every aspect of Healthcare, which doctors you can and can`t see, where you can and can`t get treated, what is and is not covered and for how much, nothing will change and the dysfunction will continue. How can it change when the only motivation for Private Insurance is profit, not Healthcare. They wouldn`t be in the business if they lost more money than they made. Profiteering off of human suffering should NOT be Practiced.
If people like the current system, than the bills that are being considered should make them happy even though the current system is massively broken.
I don`t like the current system and there is no evidence that it can ever function in a cost-effective manner or in a comprehensive manner.
We have THE WORST Healthcare system when compared to every other single Industrialized Nation. I think its time we joined the rest of the world, shedding our rank of 72nd out of 191 countries in regards to Overall Quality of Healthcare.
The current plans are just more of the same corporate controlled nonsense where profit is put before the individuals needs.
