Fox has excellent ratings but I still consider mainstream news to be the local channels and CNN (well, as it used to be anyway).  Fox news is pretty good...most of the commentators with their own shows are clearly conservative or right wing.

I've been really disappointed in CNN.  Its seems as though they moved left in responce to the popularity of Fox.  I used to consider CNN unbiased, that is definitely not the case anymore.  It is the media's responsibility to evaluate our elected officials and administrative decisions and policies...at least it used to be.  I could do without a lot of the ranting and raving of some of the hosts on Fox and MSNBC.

There is no such thing as unbiased.  The best thing you can do is read info from many different sources and determine for yourself what the truth is.
