I don't know what to think.  I'm for people being able to film what's going on.  Can he set rules for a town hall meeting?  Is there something against that?  I mean Bush set really strict rules, like you had to support him to get in which I think is going way to far but the right didn't bitch about that.  They just laughed that the silly libs couldn't even get in.

The guy was an arrogant prick in his response. "You're not gonna tell me how to run my congressional office." Where does his philosophy start and end? Someone needs to remind him who he's working for.

He was right about one thing, "...usually the films that are done end up on YouTube in a compromising position.", he wound up looking like an ass on youtube. Mission accomplished.

well they do tell him how to run his office by voting for him.  After that they don't have much say.  The only recourse is that if they don't like how he ran his office, they don't vote for him again.  But in a sense, I guess he's right, they can't tell him how to run his office while he's there as long as he's not breaking any laws.  Isn't that part of the whole, republic vs. democracy thing libertarians and constitutionalists make such a big deal of?

  • Never question my instincts.
It's ironic that you would say that.
