Honestly,Ive heard that for years that you NEVER bring pics like that to get developed.I agree its silly that the state stepped in,but we are in the process of adopting kids that have been abused and to be honest,you really cant believe the shit that goes on with these kids.They are treated worse then animals and so,Id rather see someone be safe then sorry,but common sense needs to rule at the end of the day.

We just finnished the classes,we get a home visit next week.In the beggining we were looking at youg kids,but I think we are going to try to get 14-16 year old boys.These are foster kids,but we arent going to foster because I dont want the state to be involved PLUS I couldnt give the kid up to reunited with his bio family.

I always knew that there was abuse out there,but after going through these classes,its SO MUCH worse then you could imagine.These kids live in hell.I know I bitch about taxes,but if there is one thing I wouldnt mind paying more for is for these kids to get a break.When you see kids that have been dipped in boiling water for peeing in the bed,it changes your view of things pretty quickly.

In FL it's 10 weeks of training, doing it as well.  Yeah, some terrible things out there.  parents should be shot for abusing kids.  yes, it's frustrating at times, but it's your posititon in life when you have kids.

Our thing was 30 total hours,plus we still have to do 6 hours later in Nov.They will come in,do the home study,then do another one in two weeks and make sure your house is safe.With these kids you cant even have a gas tank in your garage because one kid dowsed himself with gas and set himself on fire.So they are pretty carefull.

We went the adoption route because I told the "social worker" that if I got a kid in my house and they told me what their parents or other foster family did,not only would I not try to reunite the child with his bio-family,but I might go there and kill them.Spanking a kid is understandable[we dont do it but others do thats fine].Geeting the kid,tearing his shoes off and putting cigarettes on his feet for playing with matches deserves an all time ass whipping.
