why hasnt any one claimed disbelief when i said i ran a 4.5...is it because im black.

because 4.5 with wind to your back is a REAL number...esp in terms of football speed with pads.  4.19 is COMPLETE BULLS#IT. if dex had run that he would have been a SE, PR/KR and Percy Harvin for UF.

Dex is the beginning of Phil's small man O run...and they are both full of s##t.
Oh...Monica!

I was a sprinter in high school and college.  It's very hard to get an accurate time manually with such a short distance.  On top of this the times are exaggerated because scholarships are in the balance.  Many a 4.6  high school football player magically becomes a 5.1 time once they get timed at college with legit timing.  A football player who can truly run a 4.6 is a rare thing in high school.  Most claiming that are just full of it like the guys doing shallow 500lbs squats and barely bend your knee 1000lbs leg presses.

not at all.. well for football atleast.  Maybe for small highschools. But my whole high school football team went to addidas camps, USC camp and Cal camps. All of our times were accutrack recorded. I never ran a 40 at my highschool. Nor did i have to run one when i got to college. Its funny because No one runs a 40 as a freshman in college chief. In college football you are timed on the 40 before you go to college (high school) and when you leave (nfl/cfl/afl) combines. There is no coach who is gonna have his commited recruit run the 40 and maybe pull a ham.

I stand by what I said.  You got a scholarship or walked on  to a division 1 school and they didn't test you themself in the 40?  Pull a hamstring running a 40?  What the hell do you do in training  camp for football but sprint.

If you ran a 4.5 chief you're fast by any definition. On this site the guys all do 600lbs squats and 1000lbs leg presses.  Everyone grabs the 150lbs dumbbells for inclines and everyone here is so handsome that they have their pick of the hotties. In reality I'm sure they short stroke their ROM to lift big weights and in the clubs the girls ignore them. Even the fat ones.  (Just having fun)

If you got a scholarship to a D1 school your 40 was taken at a college combine. We didnt run 40's in school until Pro Day at Ga Tech or UGA. We got personal trainers soley for the 40 yard dash. We werent clocked as freshmen nor was anyone that i knew. And if a coach caught us trying to do 40's for bragging rights we would roll untill the cows came home. I wasnt the fastest on my team but i was one of the fastest and that was a mid to high 4.5. We had a corner who was in sports illustrated (12 picks in a season) and he ran a 4.39 at 5'9 160

a legit 4.19? HELL NO.

a legit 4.31? HELL NO.

Maybe they thought they ran a 4.19 or 4.3, but it was probably closer to a 4.5 or 4.6.  They were handed time and they're coaches were probably way off. People always claim "I ran a 4.4 or 4.3".  Then you see them run and are like "ok, negative".  Anyone who knows anything about 40 yard dash times knows that 99.5% of NFL players cant run faster than a 4.3.

Hope this helps.

Dexter's statement is possibly the most absurd lie in bodybuilding, which means it is likely the most absurd lie in history.

There is a relatively fast man named Justin Gatlin.  He won a gold medal in the 100 meters at the 2004 Olympics at 9.85 seconds.
He has an official 40 time of 4.42.

I think the "official" record according to the NFL is 4.25 seconds, by Fabian Washington.
But, that's just for the National Football League.  It's highly probable that some dipshit in high school ran a faster time than anyone else in the history of the NFL.
