He let her have control over one thing, then another and another...and he never stepped up. Plus like I said earlier he's always been a jellyfish. I didn't follow the show but from some of the clips I've seen you guys are right.  He was passive; she could have been considered emotionally and verbally abusive...she doesn't seem to respect him and respect is important to a man.

He should have stood up for himself but he seemed to be a spineless jellyfish like Youngblood said and that makes him very unattractive and possibly repulsive to his mean wife.

"Love Must Be Tough" by James Dobson would have been helpful for him to read but it seems like neither of them want to try to make it work now.

Too many people, in ALL aspects of life, do this too.
At work they'll complain about somebody not properly doing paperwork or replacing a camera etc...yet how is the person responsible for this duty (and has 20 other things to worry about) going to know if you do not tell them? If the paperwork is messed up, and the person screwing it up is not notified how are the to know it's wrong?
You have to stand up for yourself and speak up.
I do this all the time, but since nearly 100% of the things we do in society is learned, people then view me as being too cocky and whatnot.
If I'm cocky, then Jon is more like an amoeba than the aforementioned jellyfish.

I wish to believe that, but his mannerism, the way he talks, holds himself, shows otherwise. he has slumped shoulders, and his voice lacks authority. And if you see the way she bitched him in the store in regards to toys, she macked him...all he did was put his head down.

Jon is a spineless re-tard (think Hangover), and Kate is a control freak.
However, they both know they've got a great thing going on and at 80+k per episode, I wouldn't blame them if they want to keep it rolling. We can turn the channel any time we want...

Gosselins Go to War Following Jon's $230K Withdrawal

Jon Gosselin has teed up a major court battle with his soon-to-be ex-wife following his reportedly unauthorized withdrawal of thousands of dollars from the duo's money market account, RadarOnline.com reported on Sunday. According to reports, he only left around $1,000 in the account. Kate Gosselin was on the 'Today' show on Monday and put the figure at $230,000.

"Every morning I don't know what I'm going to wake up to," she said. Kate told Meredith Vieira that this wasn't the first time Jon took money out without asking. "He had done it a few days before I filed for divorce," she said. "He didn't empty it completely, but it was enough that I was afraid."

Kate predicted this would happen, so she earlier put $100,000 of the account aside -- to "keep it safe" and to "buy my kids food if needed." But she put it back because the couple's separation agreement forbids either of them from withdrawling without the authorization of the other.

She has hired lawyer Marty Singer to go after Jon and to possibly hold him in contempt for defying an existing order prohibiting such bank withdrawals. Singer has also singled out Jon's lawyer, Mark Heller, who last week said he wanted to "become friends" with Kate in order to smoothen the divorce proceedings.

Singer tells Radar, "If the money is not immediately returned, we will be looking into potential claims against Mr. Heller if he had any involvement with the violation of the court order.

"It is very disappointing that Jon Gosselin has escalated this to such an ugly place that her lawyers have to do everything they can to protect her and her children from his outrageous actions."

Singer expects Kate's family law attorney in Pennsylvania will go to court Monday morning to demand the money returned.

He tells PEOPLE that Kate learned about the withdrawal after receiving overdraft notices. She apparently pays household bills with that account.

This latest scandal was just the cherry on top of a chaotic week for the couple. Their TLC series changed its name from 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' to 'Kate Plus 8,' then had its production halted after Jon filed a cease and desist order.

Sad fact is that he's a Patsy that's newly minted as a douchebag, so he doesn't know the finer points. He's doing this out of spite for Kate and it makes him look even worse.

I'm not sure what's sadder; the kids being stuck in this whole situation or how I feel like a little old lady in a beauty salon talking about it!!!

However, I think Jon is/was a nobody and would always be. Him and Kate became famous because her body split the embryo's off into pieces, and it wasn't really even his doing (I believe she had fertility treatments of some sort. Then they get famous, and Jon gets a taste of being a minor celebrity and goes out to enjoy it. Nothing wrong up to this point, imo. But it's where Jon could have chosen another path and failed miserably!
Instead he chooses to go around with different women, it's in the tabloids and he doesn't deal with it well at all, from all that I've been able to see. He breaks it off with Kate, then he takes her/their money, prevents cameras on his property and says the show is bad for the kids (only took him 6+ years to realize this?!) and just becomes this really idiotic moron that can only tell the public "you're not in my shoes" or similar comments.

He's a moron, a patsy, douche bag and whatever else. At this point, I hope Kate throws him under a bus (I can't believe that she's actually been the one to take the high road in all of this), and he gets dragged very far underneath it. Only problem is, the kids then won't have a dad.
