combination of massage, stretching and electricity.  Milos recommended it to me and it solved a shoulder issue that had plagued me for months - in a single session.

you can find a doc near you at the link above.  it saved milos just hours before he was up for rotator cuff surgery.

This would get my vote. Sounds very similar to treatment I received at an osteopath. 5-10 minutes and a back injury I struggled with for almost a year was fixed. I was also given exercises to keep it right. It still bothers me, but I know how to sort it out myself now. None of the bullshit come back twice a week etc

I have had several sprains myself as far as my back is concerned but i never felt i needed a back specialist. Recently my wife started feeling her back bugging her a bit and she started seeing this chiropractor. The woman wants to see her on a biweekly basis and my wife is convinced she is helping her. I personally think she is just milking money out of her and pretty much wants my wife to be her lifelong customer.

If my wife really has a serious back issue shouldnt be seeing a real doctor because from what i have seen nothing short of surgery truly helps and my wife claims to just have minor pain occasionally. Does anyone have any experience with these supposed "Doctors" and do they really help ??? I just feel like we are getting SCAMMED. Personally i think that money would be better spent on a massage therapist instead of a chiropractor.

just get a script for some strong pain meds and problem solved.

Your GP is not going to be able to do anything for you wife; he'll literally be next to clueless in regards to this issue.  Some chiros are great.  The diagnosis your wife got is a relatively normal one-although once every two weeks sounds like about two weeks more often than what I've come to understand is best:a period of intense adjusting and then more like 1x per month.
An adjustment is a fast way of getting you out of pain, that's a fact...there's been plenty of times I couldn't walk or sit and an adjustment did the trick and I was fine. Although, the underlying factor is still usually muscular so what she should really be doing is seeing a physical therapist as well.  Last, back surgery is still something to be relatively weary of and only done as a last option.

A good chiro should have a very good therapist on staff.  Its amazing that the same things done in my office are done by physical therapist.  Yet, United Health Care sees fit to only pay for therapy when combined with adjustment.  When done without, its not medically necessary.  Hows that for a scam?

no prob. i was SCARED by how much my shoulder hurt.  I couldn't type with that arm, play guitar, or train at all.

I went in, they said it was a biceps tendon, causing some issue to the AC joint I think.  It was pretty painful for 30 minutes, but I was back in the gym 2 days later and it has not acted up since.

I went to my dad's doc - he recommended prednisone and even GH to be honest.  it was getting worse by the day.  normally, I think chiropractors are often crooks, and I saw my wife's doc run up the bill years ago on the insurance company.  I used to bash them a lot.  Until i was hurting and the guy fixed me in 1 sitting.  To this day, I'm 'that guy' who tells people with nagging injuries to check out ART.

Once you get the shoulder fixed - ADD ROTATOR CUFF MOVEMENTS.  Just a few sets, 1-2 times a week.  Milos told me details on what it does - creates more space in the shoulder area, etc.  I don't remember the exact.  But the pain hasn't come back.  Thank God!

Can't remember if I told you this already but a guy (ex trainer for the Eagles footy team) recommended a stretch to me which seems to help with this.  Lie on your side with the lower arm extending in front of you, elbow bent, and press the palm toward the floor.  I do these every shoulder day as well as rot cuff work.

She left me alone for a full week and the last knock was on Sat.  She always has some sob story and needs 'someone to talk to' because you can't turn away someone in emotional distress, right?  Dying grandma, misbehaving kid, stalker ex, daughter dramas with new stepmom, etc, always on the edge of tears over something.  People who try to use social convention and the rules of politeness to try to manipulate others really give me the shits.

Anyway, I had worked late on Sat and was still in construction worker mode & clothes.  Didn't let her in.  Only talked to her briefly on the porch and told her that it sounds like she knows a lot of fucked up people and if I was in her shoes I'd get my life in order and tell everyone to just fuck off.  Then I had to go because I needed to do my paperwork and good luck hope it all works out.

I'm not a nasty or callous guy and I resent her making me play the part but I'm playing it pretty convincingly, seeing as how never seeing her again would suit me right down to the ground.

chiro's are scam aritsts..they do the same shpeel with everyone...take x-rays and point out that the lower discs in your back are compressed...Well every fucking human being that doenst walk like an ape anymore and is over the age of 20 has some compression in the lower spine, it is an evolutinary sacrifice for standing upright.  It is basically normal and not something bad but looks bad in an x-ray. People believe it.

Then the treatments they give is basically the same as a massage....The rest is just the placebo effect. The entire industry rely's on the 30% success rate due to the placebo effect.
