In regards to your point, it is troubling that the African American community is experiencing so much trouble with crime and inappropriate behavior in pro sports.

what gets me is the athletes who grew up wealthy and not in the "hood" become famous and all of a sudden try to sale themselves as some sort of badass thug who is from the streets. they really need to leave that shit to kanye west.

Parcells concidderred trading up for Merriman....but didn't trust his character past. So we had to settle on Demarcus Ware. Bummer

The inside scoop I got on this was ...Steps was lifting by himself in a room (not being assisted by a trainer like espn reported) he was finnished with a set and the supports were so lose (old equipment I guess)(maybe one of those cheap ass Weider benches from the 80's?) the barbell fell on his neck. Damien Williams happened to walk in saw Steps and helped get the bar off.
